Gaston County, NC - RFQ - Special Inspections & Materials Testing
PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
The County’s Special Inspections and Material Testing requirements, including but not limited to:
On-site observation and monitoring;
Field and laboratory testing and analysis;
Review of concrete, grout, and asphaltic concrete mixes;
Structural steel nondestructive testing;
Consulting for construction material selection, compatibility, and acceptability;
Forensic investigation and evaluation of in-place construction materials;
Pavement materials engineering and construction management;
The selected firm will be required to participate in a collaborative process and to work with the County and its overall Project team.
