Gaston County, NC - RFQ - On-Call Professional & Support Services

Gaston County wishes to select firms and enter into agreements such that periodic on-call, as-needed services can be called upon in a manner that allows quick response and completion.

Projects will vary in nature depending upon the needs at any given time. Selected firms will be contacted once projects have been funded. The County makes no guarantee that the selection of qualified firms for on-call services will result in a contract for project(s).

Tasks may be performed on federally or state funded work and the selected consultant(s) will be subjected to any federal or state terms and conditions and federal or state forms as required for that specific task order. Other grant reimbursement task orders may also be issued, and all requirements will be negotiated at the time of task order negotiation and execution.

The County invites all interested and qualified firms to submit qualification statements in accordance with the following requirements. Firms will not be considered unless the minimum qualifications are met:

Firm must be properly registered with the Office of the Secretary of State of North Carolina (as applicable);
Firm must be licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers & Surveyors (as applicable); and

Responses should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward and concise description of the Responder’s experience and qualifications related to proposed scope of services. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) package should consist of a cover letter, responses to the specific inquiries in this Section, and a set of completed Required Forms (1-5), attached to this RFQ.
