The project site is within a restricted area of the airport and may only be viewed by permission and accompaniment by authorized airport personnel. Prospective bidders requesting to view the project site shall contact the airport manager, Mr. Kaleb Arms at 740-645-8232.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 5 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the Gallia County Commissioners as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Authority within fifteen (15) days and its performance secured by a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price and, in default thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the Gallia County Commissioners as liquidated damages.
Proposals shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Gallia County Commissioners, 18 Locust Street, Room 1292, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631, and labeled in lower left-hand corner:
