REBID - Charleston, SC - Stevens Barracks Roof Replacement 2022
The building will remain completely functional and fully protected at all times during the construction work. All ingress/egress to facility and pedestrian walkways must be maintained with overhead protection when construction is occurring at/over these areas.
Base Bid work includes total removal of existing roof systems down to the structural deck for Roof Areas A, B1-B4, C and D1-D6 for approximately 200 squares. Roof replacement includes minor deck repairs, rough carpentry, roof insulation, including taper, and a granular surfaced two-ply modified bitumen roof system for Areas A, B1-B4 and C. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. Asbestos abatement of select roof areas with nonfriable asbestos roofing materials is included. Base Bid work also includes a fluid applied coating system for areas D1-D6.
