Raleigh, NC - Yorkgate Bank Stabilization Project and West Drewry Channel Repair Project

Repairs to the channel banks at 2001 Yorkgate Drive consisting of the removal of failing sculpted concrete and riprap, and installation of 20 linear feet of 7’-tall boulder walls on each channel bank. Work shall include associated work as indicated on the plans, in the specifications, and in the bid schedule of prices, or as directed by the Project Engineer. Stabilization of the channel bank at 121 West Drewry Lane consisting of installation of 30 linear feet of 7’-tall boulder wall, and channel-bank grading and repairs to in-stream structures at 204 West Drewry Lane. Work shall include associated work as indicated on the plans, in the specifications, and in the bid schedule of prices, or as directed by the Project Engineer.

Bid Info:   Sealed Bids are invited and will be received until Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM, at 127 W. Hargett St, 8th floor front desk and Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 PM in room 303 of the Raleigh Municipal Building located at 222 W. Hargett St., at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the Yorkgate Bank Stabilization Project and West Drewry Channel Repair Project. Due to room capacity limitations, we ask that only one representative per company attend. We ask that you have a mask if attending in person. Attendance for the Bid Opening is optional.

Public Notes:
Bidders will be allowed to ask questions related to the project scope of work during the pre-bid meeting. Other questions will be received ONLY in written form, by e-mail at reid.huntley@raleighnc.gov. The deadline to submit written questions to the Project Manager is 5:00 PM EDT on Thursday, April 14 (Thursday one week earlier), 2022. Responses to questions will be issued via addendum.
