Cambridge Municipal Airport - Reconstruct Aprons 'A', 'B', 'C'; Rehabilitate Taxilanes 'A' - (16028)

This project is to reconstruct the main general aviation aircraft parking Apron in front of the Airport Terminal Building area and Rehabilitate the taxilane pavements surrounding the airport T-hangar aircraft storage area at the Cambridge Municipal Airport (CDI) in Cambridge, Ohio. The project is planned to include, but not be limited to the following general project elements:

1. Demolish and remove approximately 310 SY of non-reinforced portland cement concrete pavement, demolish and remove existing taxiway edge lights, edge markers, tie-down anchors, drainage pipe, drainage structures, sidewalks and other abandoned subsurface lines and structures per FAA specification P-101. Then regrade and recompact the demolish and removal areas per FAA specification P-152.
2. Full-depth, cement treated pavement reclamation (FDR) of approximately 10,500 SY, 14” deep, bituminous asphalt pavement per FAA specification P-207.
3. Cold pavement milling of approximately 6,300 SY 2” nominal depth bituminous asphalt taxilane pavement per FAA specification P-101.
4. Construct drainage inlet structures (2 EA) per FAA specification D-751; 15” dia., Class V RCCP pipe culvert (approximately 152 LF) per FAA specification D-701; and 6” PVC perforated edge/underdrain pipe (approximately 680 LF) per FAA specification D-705.
5. Construct aircraft parking area pavement consisting of approximately 4” of FAA specification P-401 bituminous asphalt (approximately 2,700 tons) surface course material on top of the FDR base course material.
6. Construct T-hangar taxilane area pavement consisting of approximately 2” of FAA specification P-401 bituminous asphalt (approximately 2,700 tons) surface course material on top of milled bituminous asphalt pavement material.
7. Install L-125 stake mounted taxiway edge reflective markers (12 EA).
8. Install aircraft tiedown anchors as specified (27 EA).
9. Install approximately 60 LF of 8’ tall chain link fence with barbwire top, a 20’ opening double-swing gate (1 EA) and a 5’ opening pedestrian gate (1 EA) with mechanical push-button entry keypad per FAA specification F-162.
