Weyers Cave, VA - Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport - Replace Airfield Lighting System (20048)
The project includes the rehabilitation of the Airport’s taxiway and runway lighting, REILS, and PAPIs with new LED fixtures, along with new transformers and cable. This project also includes rehabilitation of the existing airfield electrical vault by replacing all existing Constant Current Regulators (CCRs) and the installation of a new supplemental windcone. The scope of the project includes the following:
*Replacement of taxiway and runway light fixtures with new LED fixtures
*Replacement of airfield lighting cable
*New supplemental windcone
*Two new 4-box LED PAPI systems
*Replacement of the airfield emergency back-up generator
*Replacement of runway 23 REILs with LED fixtures
*Replacement of regulators inside the electrical vault
