An agreement for services will be entered into on a project by project basis with selected firm(s). Projects may include, but not be limited to, the construction or rehabilitation of: gravity sewer lines, water lines, submersible pump stations, force mains, curb/gutter, sidewalk or stormwater control measures. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) does not extend to treatment or storage projects, projects that require Environmental Assessments, or grant/loan funded projects. The Town reserves the right to issue specific Requests for Proposals separately for any project at its discretion.
Services may include:
• Provision of surveying, engineering, planning and consulting services, including the preparation of various studies and assessments.
• Preparation design plans and specifications.
• Preparation of cost estimates, both preliminary for budget purposes and construction cost estimates.
• Preparation of survey exhibits or plats for use in easement acquisition (easement acquisition itself is not included in this request for qualifications)
• Preparation and submission of appropriate regulatory permits.
• Provision of bidding and construction administration/inspection services. Please note that the Town reserves the right to perform some or all services in-house for any project as it deems appropriate.
