Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Salisbury Water Treatment Plant Improvements will be received by the City of Salisbury, in the office of the City of Salisbury, Salisbury-Rowan Utilities, 1 Water Street, Salisbury, North Carolina, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids may also be sent by USPS mail to the City of Salisbury, Attn: Jason Wilson, Salisbury-Rowan Utilities, 1 Water Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. One original and one copy of your response should be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope plainly marked with the Project title, name and address of the Bidder, and Request for Bid (RFB) number (RFB # 013-2020).

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

A conditional or qualified bid will not be accepted.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder for the entire contract.

The City of Salisbury reserves the right to reject any and all RFBs and to waive formalities.
