North Charleston SC Sewer Dist - Ashley Interceptor Rehabilitation Ph 8 (20170274.00.CH)

The services will include sewer rehabilitation by constructing new cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) within approximately 4,641 linear feet of 42-inch gravity sewer. Fourteen (14) manholes, the force main receiving junction box, and the influent splitter box at the Brickyard Pump Station will be rehabilitated with reconstructive concrete and epoxy lining. The project will include bypass pumping and other appurtenant activities.

Bid Info:   North Charleston Sewer District seeks separate sealed bids from qualified Contractors licensed in the State of South Carolina that are fully insured and bondable for CIPP Services. Bids will be received at the office of North Charleston Sewer District at 7225 Stall Road in North Charleston and publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.

Every request for such interpretation should be in writing and emailed with the subject line, “QUESTIONS – ASHELY INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION – PHASE 8”, to purchasing@ncsd.sc.gov. To be given consideration, such request must be received no later than 12:00 Noon, May 09, 2018. All such interpretations, and any supplemental instructions, will be made in the form of written Addenda to the Specifications which, if issued, will be posted on the Purchasing website at http://www.ncsd.sc.gov/purchasing.aspx, and Engineer’s website, https://www.wkdickson.com/ Plan Room.

To be eligible for consideration, bids must comply with the laws of South Carolina, all conditions of the specifications, and must be made on the form provided, enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope bearing the name and license number of the bidder and marked: Ashley Interceptor Rehabilitation – Phase 8. The “Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications”, as described in the Information for Bidders must be included in the sealed bid.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of five Percent (5 %) of the base bid, which may be a bid bond, issued by a bonding company licensed to do business in South Carolina that is on the approved list of the Treasury of the United States or a certified check made payable to the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, and Payment Bonds each in the full amount of the contract sum, issued by a bonding company licensed to do business in South Carolina, and on the approved list of the Treasury of the United States.

The Owner, North Charleston Sewer District, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and award the job in the best interest of the Owner. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening of the bid.

Please note that partial purchasers will not be considered plan holders and will not receive notifications of Addendum. However, Addenda will be available for viewing in the project posting.

Please note that only registered plan holders may bid as a General Contractor.

A printed bid set is $36.00 plus applicable sales tax.

A printed bid set & CD is $61.00 plus applicable sales tax.

A set is also available for download from this site in PDF for $27.00 plus applicable sales tax. Downloads do not include addenda, they are all available on the "Addenda" tab of this page. Once payment is secured, you will receive an email that your files are ready to be downloaded from your account.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

Online orders are filled within 1-2 business days.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files. Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “addendaNotification@dpibidroom.com” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of dpibidroom.com to prevent emails from being captured.
