Awendaw, SC - District 1 Land Demolition (Lincoln HS)

This Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to abate hazardous building materials, demolish, and dispose of two structures and those associated items referenced in this specification and the project drawings. Existing features within the project site to include but not limited to the water well supply head, utilities serving adjacent structures, free-standing light poles, trees, sidewalks, parking areas, and existing stormwater basins are to remain unless specifically noted otherwise, and as such shall be protected from damage during the work. The extent of the work is referenced in this construction document and the project drawings. This surrounding area of the work site is functioning as part of a private farm operation. Roadways and facilities include in demolition must be accessible and maintained. Contractor shall fully cooperate with the Owner and conduct work to avoid disruption of normal activities and those scheduled and special events

All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid securities of the three low bidders will be retained until Contract award and execution.

Bids will be binding for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date bids are opened.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.

Bids are to be submitted on the bid form provided, enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, contractor's license number, identification of contract being bid and name of project. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of South Carolina.
