Gaston County, NC - RFQ for Professional Architectural Services - Gastonia Adult Daycare ADA Renovations
The delivery method for the Project will be Design-Bid-Build. The selected firm will be required to provide a full range of design services for a fully usable, operational, and code compliant facility that satisfies the County’s project requirements, including but not limited to:
Schematic design;
Design development;
Construction documents;
Submitting for permits required for compliance with local, state and federal requirements;
Conducting regular meetings with appropriate County and City personnel;
Preparing contract documents for bidding and permitting;
Preparing detailed cost estimates;
Preparing a construction phasing plan to meet the county’s specific equipment, storage, and workflow needs;
Bidding administration;
Construction administration;
Special Inspections and Material Testing; and
Project closeout.
The selected firm will be required to participate in a collaborative process and to work with the County and its overall Project team. The Architect may also be asked to prepare further drawings, renderings, and other materials for presentation of the Project to other entities.

Please note that the overall Statement of Qualifications should be limited to a maximum of 20 pages printed on one side, or 10 pages printed on both sides, excluding required forms, covers, sub-tabs, and dividers.
