Mt. Pleasant, SC - Lucy Garrett Beckham High School Modular Classrooms – Building Completion Package

This Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, provide the infrastructure, connect power, water, sewer, fire alarm, security alarm, and IT conduits to Eight New Modular Classrooms and one Restroom Facility provided by Modular Genius. The new modular unit’s infrastructure will be connected to the existing Lucy Beckham High School facility. The work will include the following: (specified by CCSD)

a. Standard pressure treated wood lattice framed with 1’x4” pressure treated lumber
b. Carpet squares and Vinyl to be furnished and installed by Owner
c. Signage specified by CCSD, and indicated on the drawings
d. Fencing as per design drawings, furnished and installed by the Owner.
e. Interior partitions, doors/frames and hardware to be provided and installed by Modular Genius

Bid Info:   Sealed bids for the Lucy Garrett Beckham High School Modular Classrooms – Building Completion Package (Solicitation No. 22-CMG-B-016) will be received from qualified General Contractors, properly licensed under the laws of the State of South Carolina, opened and read aloud by the Owner and Program Manager at the Office of Cumming Management Group, Inc., 3820 Faber Place Drive, Suite 600, N. Charleston, SC 29405 on May 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Bids received after 10:00 a.m. will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened.

All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid securities of the three low bidders will be retained until Contract award and execution.

Bids will be binding for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date bids are opened.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.

Bids are to be submitted on the bid form provided, enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, contractor's license number, identification of contract being bid and name of project. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of South Carolina.

THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, WAIVE INFORMALITIES AND AWARD THE CONTRACT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE OWNER.
