Pursuant to NC G.S. 143-129, sealed Bids for the G. G. Hill WTP Lagoon Closure project will be received by Carrie Mitchell, Town of Wake Forest, third floor, at 301 South Brooks Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587- 2932 until 2:00 PM, local time on April 21, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be submitted by mail or courier. Bids received after this day and time will not be accepted.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid made payable to Town of Wake Forest. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 consecutive calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed.

The Town of Wake Forest is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Bidder must include completed minority or women-owned subcontractor documentation form(s) regardless of bid amount or the bids may be considered non-responsive and invalid.

Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Article 1 of Chapter 87, and the Instruction to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
