Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work for the above items will be received by the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission until 2 P.M. local time, December 2, 2021 in the General Aviation Terminal Building Conference Room, 77 Aviation Circle, Weyers Cave, Virginia 24486 then publicly opened and read aloud.
The successful bidder must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federally Required Contract Provisions included in the documents.
The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents.
Proposals shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission, 77 Aviation Circle, Weyers Cave, Virginia 24486 and labeled in lower left-hand corner:
Install One 12,000 Gallon AVGAS and Two 20,000 Gallon Jet A Fuel Tanks

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. The exception of the procedures in accordance of provision (i) contained in 11-54, Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.
The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
