Orangeburg, SC - SC State University - Selective Roof Replacement-Repairs - Moss Hall and Crawford Hall
Base Bid work includes total removal of existing roof systems down to the LWIC/Gypsum fill deck for Areas A, B and B1 of Moss Hall for approximately 80 squares. Roof replacement includes minor deck repairs, rough carpentry, roof insulation, including taper, and a two-ply modified bitumen roof system. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. Removal of minor, non-friable asbestos containing roof materials is included. Alternate Number 1 work includes modifications/repairs to 750 LF of sheet metal, copings, fascia, counterflashings, and drainage elements and supports for condensate lines/pipes for Crawford Hall Roof Areas A, B, and C. Alternate Number 2 work includes fluid applied elastomeric coating system and new metal counterflashing at wall, copings, gutters, and downspouts for Roof Area C metal roofs of Moss Hall for approximately 43 squares. Alternate Number 3 work includes repointing 100% of small penthouse walls on Roof Area B of Moss Hall.
