Wiley Ford, WV - Greater Cumberland Regional Airport - Rehabilitate Runway 5-23, Bid Package #5 (20009)

This is the fifth bid package of a multi-year construction program to Rehabilitate Runway 5-23. This project will place embankment material (obtained from on-site) and construct a reinforced slope at the end of RW 23. Work for the project will include, but is not limited to, embankment (approx. 580,000 CY), reinforced slope backfill (approx. 175,000 CY), pipe installation (1,000 LF), and perimeter fence installation (6,500 LF). The project will also include minor amounts of state mix asphalt paving, airfield markings, and airfield electrical work.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 180 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.
