Farmville Regional Airport - Runway Safety Area Grading (20016)
This grading project will bring the airport into compliance with current Runway Safety Area (RSA) grade standards. The project includes:
*Grade approximately 24 acres of land (estimated 33,000 CY of earthwork) to meet current Runway Safety Area (RSA) standards
*Demolish existing midfield taxiway turnaround pavement (asphalt)
*Erosion control and stormwater management
*Electrical - adjust Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPIs)

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.
