REBID - Raleigh, NC - Stormwater Drainage Assistance Program – Bundle Project #3

Work of Bundle Project #3 will include the construction of two (2) Stormwater Drainage Assistance Projects, 5700 Edgedale Drive and 7314 Doverton Court. Each project should be bid individually using the “Bid Schedule of Prices”. It is the intent of the City of Raleigh to award the two projects to the same contractor based on the cumulative total of the two projects. Work for the projects will consist of stream bank stabilization construction activities to repair and improve eroded stream channel’s sections on City’s permanent drainage easement. The construction activities will include but is not necessarily limited to clearing and grubbing; erosion and sediment control activities, stream channel excavation; removal of small embankment, removal of 30 and 36-inch pipes, removal and replacement of stormwater drainage structure, installation of new 48 and 54-inch RCP pipes, re-grading the channel banks in conjunction with the installation of rock bank protection, rock toe protection and soil lifts, furnish and install constructed Riffles, NCDOT Rip-Raps, riparian seed mix, rooted plant plugs, landscaping, topsoil, seeding, mulching and other related items. Work shall include any associated work as indicated on the plans, in the specifications, in the bid schedule of prices, or as directed by the Project Engineer.

Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders.

Any questions related to the project scope of work will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to the Project Manager is 5:00 PM local prevailing time on December 22, 2020. Responses to questions will be issued via addendum.
