Mooresville, NC - Mechanical RFQ
Pursuant with State of North Carolina Statute § 143—64.31, The Town of Mooresville is soliciting requests for qualifications from professional and experienced firms for mechanical engineering services. The goal of this project is to provide the Town of Mooresville with full mechanical renovation plans to be bid for construction and to make an occupied building operate more efficiently. Design firms responding to this Request for Qualifications, who satisfy the stated criteria shall be evaluated by Mooresville according to the criteria identified in this Request for Qualifications. The most qualified firm will be identified, and Town of Mooresville will request a proposal for professional services.

The focus of this project is to redesign the existing mechanical system at a fire station in a more efficient manner.
The scope of the project is to provide full mechanical renovation construction documents for bid for the 12,000 square foot facility.
Access to original construction documents and to the facility will be given to the awarded firm.
Firms will be evaluated based on their experience, references from past projects, geographic location, and quality of submission.
