• The focus of this project is two-fold: 1) to repurpose an existing 26,000 square foot police headquarters to become the Town Hall Annex for roughly 60 employees, and 2) to modify the interior design of the existing 37,000 square foot Town Hall to better accommodate existing employees and future growth.
• The scope includes schematic architectural services and space needs evaluations for both facilities
• The project has an estimated budget of $30,000.00
• The project has an anticipated completion date of 1/1/2021.
• A site visit will be held on 9/9/2020 at 10:00 A.M. Mooresville Police Station 750 W Iredell Ave, Mooresville, NC 28115 for all interested firms to ask questions of project leadership and receive a tour of the existing facilities. Scope of Work

1. Pre-design planning including assistance in the preparation of a schedule, preliminary cost estimates, and space needs evaluations.
2. Conceptual/schematic architectural services for the conversion of existing office space to host new departments.

Pursuant with State of North Carolina Statute § 143—64.31, The Town of Mooresville is soliciting requests for qualifications from professional and experienced firms for a conceptual plan for the renovation and interior design changes for the Town Hall Annex (former Police Station) and Town Hall. The goal of this project is to provide the Town of Mooresville schematic designs and space needs evaluations for two existing facilities which will be modified to better accommodate personnel who will migrate to the facility or be moved within the facility as well as accommodate future growth. Design firms responding to this Request for Qualifications, who satisfy the stated criteria shall be evaluated by Mooresville according to the criteria identified in this Request for Qualifications. The most qualified firm will be identified, and Town of Mooresville will request a proposal for professional services.
