Raleigh, NC - Stormwater Drainage Assistance Program-Chapel Hill Road Drainage Improvements Project

The work consists of drainage improvements on the commercial facility at 6221 Chapel Hill Road. Construction activities will include the removal of approximately 235 linear feet of failing 42-inches corrugated metal pipe (CMP), repair of sink holes and the installation of approximately 260 linear feet of new 48 inches RCP pipe; 6 stormwater drainage structures, drop inlets and manhole; and a concrete headwall and rip-rap energy dissipator at the outlet of the system. Work shall include any associated work as indicated on the plans, in the specifications, in the bid schedule of prices, or as directed by the Project Engineer.

No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statues of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions. The City is an equal opportunity Municipality/Owner and invites small and minority contractors to bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.
