The State Street Pedestrian Improvement project will provide improvements such as, street resurfacing, new sidewalks and driveway improvements on the Westbound lane from South Turner Avenue to the dead end, new wheel chair ramps, new curb ramps with landscaping in key locations for traffic calming and street trees in key locations along State Street. The project involves construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, stamped concrete median, paving, grading, drainage, erosion control and utilities.

Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work.
A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds B>$300,000.

The estimated cost of this Project is $868,000.00.
