Raleigh NC - Juniper Street Drainage Improvements Project ID: 2017-0008

The work will generally consist of clearing, grading, stormwater pipe and structure removal and installation, utility relocations and adjustments, curb and gutter removal and installation, stream bank stabilization installation, asphalt pavement removal and installation, traffic control, flow diversion and dewatering, erosion and sediment control, and other related items as shown on the plans, in the contract specifications and/or as directed by the Project Engineer. The Contractor shall be responsible for the installation of soil erosion and sediment control devices; earth excavation; fill borrow, topsoil and seedbed material; and storing and stockpiling material and stabilization measures.

No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statues of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions.

Hargett Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601, during usual office hours, and are available to prospective bidders.
