The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the installation of:
approximately 4,600 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main including valve assemblies, fire hydrant assemblies, water services, connections to existing mains, pressure and disinfection testing, fittings traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, paving, abandonment of existing water mains and all associated appurtenances as described in the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings to provide a complete and operable system.

Only Bidders who have been prequalified may submit Bids on this Contract. Bids received from Bidders who have not been prequalified will be returned unopened. The following Bidders have been prequalified to submit Bids for the Project:
1. Carolina Civilworks, Inc.
2. Garney Companies, Inc.
3. Moffat Pipe, Inc.
4. Park Construction of North Carolina, Inc.
5. Pipeline Utilities, Inc.
6. Sanford Contractors, Inc.
7. State Utility Contractors, Inc.

Bids will be received for a Unit Price General Construction Contract. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall have valid North Carolina General Contractor’s Licenses for the type and value of the work to be performed.

Each Bidder shall be licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Bidders are notified that “An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting,” was ratified by the General Assembly of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and that this Act and subsequent Amendments, will be observed in receiving and awarding Contracts. Each bidder is required to submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit pursuant to Section 133-30 of the General Statutes of North Carolina.

A printed bid set & CD is $220.00 plus applicable sales tax.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files.
