Charlotte NC - Orr Rd Extension (Elgywood Ln) (512-14-016)

The project proposed a new street connection by extending Orr Road from N. Tryon Street to Dawn Circle and to Austin Drive. The project will replace left turn access to and from N. Tryon Street that was lost due to the BLE project eliminating left turns at Austin Drive. The work includes grading, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, planting strip, asphalt paving, storm drainage, detention pond, pavement markings, erosion control, traffic control and water and sewer utility related work.

Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work.
A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.

The estimated cost of this Project is $1,754,880.00.
