BID BOND:
Each bid must be accompanied by either cash or a cashier’s check or a certified check drawn on a bank of trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation made payable to The Town of Fort Mill in an amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the base bid + all alternates or by a bond in the above amount executed in accordance with and conditioned as prescribed by SC Code 11-35-3030(1). If the successful bidder fails to give satisfactory surety as required by law, the above deposit will be retained by the Owner. All contractors are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades.

PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BOND:
The successful General Contractor will be asked to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of Contract Amount after selection. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) PROVISIONS. The Town of Fort Mill encourages and invites small, women, and/or minority-owned businesses to participate in the Town’s procurement process.

A printed bid set & CD is $125.00 plus applicable sales tax (the remaining balance will be paid by the owner).

A set is also available for download from this site in PDF for $75.00 plus applicable sales tax (the remaining balance will be paid by the owner). Downloads do not include addenda, they are all available on the "Addenda" tab of this page. Once payment is secured, you will receive an email that your files are ready to be downloaded from your account.

Any purchase made on this site includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

Online orders are filled within 1-2 business days after payment is secured.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files. Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “addendaNotification@dpibidroom.com” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of dpibidroom.com to prevent emails from being captured.
