Charlotte NC - Central Yard Storm Water Control Retrofit (TK18150101)

This project will provide retrofit improvements to storm water controls at 829 Louise Avenue. Work will include: removal of an existing vault and installation of an underground modular concrete storm water vault; sewer and storm water pipe removal and abandonment; installation of reinforced concrete pipe; sanitary sewer installation; removal of existing pavement and installation of reinforced concrete pavement; erosion control and other related works.

An electrical line needs to be re-located along the excavation limits near the canopy structure on the West side of the vault. Once notice is given to start work, the contractor is to install the electrical conduit shown on the plans as soon as possible. At that point, work at the site will stop until the electrical line is relocated.

Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.
The estimated cost of this Project is $628,959.00.
