York County SC US Hwy 21 24-inch Water Main & Site Grading (YCE 09108)

The work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals; and of performing all work necessary to complete all specified work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared therefore and entitled US Highway 21 24-inch Water Main and Site Grading (YCE 09108). The work generally consists of the installation of approximately 1,014 linear feet of 24-inch DIP water main to connect a site to the existing 24-inch water main along US Highway 21 North. The new water main will be constructed via open cut, with 60 feet of the proposed main crossing Central Carolinas Parkway. The work includes installation of approximately 466 linearfeet of 18-inch Class III RCP storm drain. The work also includes site grading.

It is requested that completed bids be either typewritten or handwritten in black ink only. Facsimiles or electronic responses are not acceptable. If County offices are closed due to inclement weather, the bids shall be opened at the same scheduled hour on the 3rd working day (excluding County observed holidays) after the scheduled bid opening date. In the event that an act of nature occurs preventing a firm to attend a mandatory meeting or submitting a bid on time, the County reserves the right to accept or excuse the firms tardiness. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
