REBID - Neil Armstrong Airport - Runway 8 Approach Obstruction Removal (17075)

RW 8 Approach Obstruction Removal – This project at the Neil Armstrong Airport in New Knoxville, Ohio shall consist of clearing approximately 2.6 acres of small trees and shrubs and installing a 45 feet tall and a 65 feet tall obstruction light pole with dual-LED FAA specification L-810 obstruction lights on top of each pole. Electric service to each of the poles shall be provided by solar panel power and included as part of the project.

The Engineer’s estimate for this project is $46,000. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.

The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents.

Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda.
