REBID - Charlotte NC - Can Lift Station Improvements

Bids must be on forms furnished by the City and marked, “Can Lift Station Improvements”. This contract consists of furnishing all labor/materials and equipment for completion of this project. The work involves but is not limited to the following:

Removal of existing control and electrical panels from within the dry well of each lift station and installing a new control panel cabinet with new components at grade level with grounding,
Installation of a new magmeter within a precast concrete vault on the existing force main with isolation plug valves and bypass line,
Sandblasting and recoating of the interior of the steel dry wells’ floors and bottom 3 feet of walls including any additional corroded wall locations,
Removal of existing wet well level system and installing a new submersible hydrostatic level sensor and transmitter and backup floats for level measurement, and
Other miscellaneous site work for installation of the new control cabinet and meter vault including but not limited to bypass pumping, relocation of existing fences, removal of vegetation, installation of temporary sediment fences, and replacement of existing gravel ground cover after installation is complete.

Attendance at the prebid is not mandatory but highly recommended. A photo ID is required to attend the meeting.
