Thomasboro/Hoskins NIP Phase 4
– This contract includes two sets of plans under one cover sheet to be constructed as one project. The work includes traffic control; erosion control; grading; drainage; concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, drives and wheelchair ramps; water / sanitary sewer rehabilitation; asphalt paving and related work. Also included is storm water improvements and stream restoration.
Neighborhood Improvement Project Location
- The project is located in the Thomasboro-Hoskins Neighborhood and includes portions of Wildwood, Wabash, Pinoca, Williamson, Hovis, Bradford, North, Marble, Willard, Montcalm, Saratoga, and Browns. Additional improvements are included in this contract that are associated with stormwater improvements along streams entitled Allenbrook and Westridge, and are detailed on an accompanying set of plans.
Allenbrook/Westridge CIP Stream Restoration
– The scope of work includes general overall improvement of existing storm water infrastructure including drainage curb inlets, drainage collection piping, road culvert crossings, open flow channel, and construction of a restored stream. Further, during the construction period the improvement work includes the following: sediment and erosion control, traffic control, ground clearing and grubbing, channel grading, channel bank stabilization, installation of rock and log structures, culvert replacement, installation of reinforced concrete pipe, construction of drainage structures, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, fencing, sanitary sewer and utility relocation, tree planting, channel re-vegetation, and seeding and mulching.
