This project is to improve the safety of the intersection of Oakdale and Hovis Roads with Brookshire Boulevard by realigning their skewed angles and increasing the separation distance between the two intersections. Therefore, companies interested in bidding on this project must have submitted the following two documents to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities before they will be allowed to purchase bid documents for this project:

• Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Contractor Statement. This document is available at http://cmucontracts.charmeck.org and must be completed by the company purchasing bid documents.
• A copy of articles of incorporation, general contractor’s license or business license, or letter of good standing from the Secretary of State.

The company purchasing the bid package will not allow any of the Sensitive Information to be reproduced in any manner or under any circumstances.

All bid packages must be returned, regardless of whether a bid is submitted or not, to the CITY OF CHARLOTTE on or before the date of the bid opening.




Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $100,000. The estimated cost of this Project is $3,570,000.00.
