A Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting, Site Tour and MBE/WBE Workshop will be
conducted July 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport. The
purpose of the Pre-bid Meeting is to inform prospective Contractor’s and
Subcontractor’s of the project scope and requirements for meeting the MBE/WBE
goals set forth for this contract.

Sealed proposals for the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment for the Runway 5-
23 Rehabilitation will be received by the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport Commission at the
Laurinburg-Maxton Airport Terminal, 16701 Airport Road, Maxton, North Carolina
28364 until 11:00 am, August 12, 2010. Immediately thereafter all bids received shall be
publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted.
